Fundraising workshop at RHS Rosemoor May 2nd
Mixed media Spring nest
With Benton's Menagerie
Saturday May 2nd
1.30 - 4.30 pm
After a successful fundraising campaign in the New Year we are hosting two more fundraising workshops at RHS Rosemoor during their Spring Design for Living Fair.
Our last fundraising campaign raised £400 which was split equally between WIRES, the Australian wildlife rescue charity helping to care for animals harmed or displaced by the bushfires and The Red Cross, who are supporting victims of the devastating floods in Indonesia.
All proceeds from this workshop will go support humanitarian aid, wherever it is needed most.
Join needle felt and sculpture artist Tracey Benton from Benton's Menagerie for a three hour workshop to create a mixed media Spring nest. It's all made from natural materials, including 'turquoise' bead eggs.
The nest is designed to nestle in the fork of a branch to create a gorgeous wee sculpture. You could also turn it into a brooch.
£25 all materials included*
* You will need to bring your own foraged branch on which to mount your nest. Please make sure that it's a fallen branch or a piece of drift wood, we don't want any branches to be broken off living trees to make this sculpture.
